Nothing Will Outrun Death (NWOD for short) is something of a cross between a retroclone of the 2004 version of the World of Darkness and my vision of what the 2nd edition of that system should have been. It uses the same d10 dice-pool mechanic, but adds in a Stress system reminiscent of Alien and a Negotiation system similar to The One Ring’s. It is definitely still horror-adjacent, however rules and equipment exists ranging from the neolithic to the furthest future of space opera, allowing for a wide range of games and styles. In many ways this is the successor system to my old (and defunct) Verse game system.

I am hoping to have a playtest version of the rules available before the end of 2024, as this is the 20th anniversary of the original release, and I think that is a fun idea.
